Most of the shower activity looks like it will hold off until after 8 or 9 PM tonight. And a lot of it may dry up before reaching eastern CT. There probably won’t be much going on early Sunday. Looks like most of it will hold off until after 10 AM or 11 AM. Once it arrives, though, a steadier rain will develop Sunday afternoon and become heavy at times Sunday night. Some if it will linger into Monday morning, but we should see some clearing by Monday afternoon at the latest. A couple lingering, scattered showers may
appear Monday night and Tuesday. The consensus of the models at this point is that most of our area will pick up rainfall amounts on the order of 2.00″-3.00″, give or take. The GFS and RPM suggest that some of the hilly areas west of Hartford may see 4.00″+. The NAM has some areas of western MA, down to the MA/CT border with Tolland County with less than 2.00″.
